Time flower is discontinued

From september 1th 2019, Time Flower has been removed from the iOS App Store. It will no longer be supported. If you have purchased Time Flower, you can continue to use it. However, it’s not guaranteed to work on future iOS versions.

The idea of having a user friendly time registration app started in 2014. As a lawyer I was very frustrated with the existing software. It never seemed to work for me and my workflow. Finally I decided to make an app myself. That meant that I had to learn programming from scratch. I started with Objective-C, and switched over to Swift when it came out in 2014. After many, many ours of learning and trying I finally got a working app that suited my needs. It was approved in the iOS app store in january 2017.

I’m still very proud of my achievement. However, a programming language is like a real language. You need to continue using it and working with it. After Time Flower came out in the App Store, I basically stopped programming. I decided to spend my free hours in my family and started roadcycling more fanatically. That was the correct decision for me. I’m more healthy and happy now. I’ve decided that I just don’t want to spend the time needed for continuing Time Flower.

To all people who tried and bought the app: thank you very much. I hope you still enjoy the app. But I also hope you respect my decision to discontinue it.
